Systems Engineer | Marcellus, NY, United States | Hybrid | $92,200-$115,300

The Role

  • Provide technical development for radar and radar data processing software to support air traffic control globally.
  • Conduct technical investigations for new feature development and customer change requests.
  • Develop and maintain specifications and technical documentation for customer deliverables and internal processes.
  • Support field teams during the rapid deployment of radar systems.
  • Engage in domestic and international travel, not exceeding 15%.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in safety-critical or mission-critical industries.
  • Familiarity with the development of safety-critical software systems.
  • Experience with server software application development, particularly in Linux environments.
  • Experience with data processing and tool development using MATLAB.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities for team environments.
