Product Owner / Business Systems Analyst With Order Management & Quote-to-Cash

Job description

• We are looking for an experienced Product Owner / Business Systems Analyst with strong expertise in Order Management and the end-to-end Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) lifecycle.

  The candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements, defining product vision, managing the product backlog, translating business needs into functional requirements, and partnering with engineering, QA, finance, sales, and operations teams to deliver scalable business solutions.

  Key Responsibilities

  1. Product Ownership

• Define and communicate product vision, roadmap, and strategy for Order Management and Q2C platforms.

• Own and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and strategic objectives.

• Create and manage epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Conduct backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and product demos.

  2. Order Management

• Understand the complete order lifecycle, including order creation, validation, booking, fulfillment, shipment, invoicing, and order closure.

• Define requirements for order capture, order orchestration, order amendments, cancellations, and returns.

• Manage complex order scenarios involving multiple products, services, subscriptions, and delivery models.

• Define order validation rules, pricing checks, product eligibility, and order status transitions.

• Work on order integration with CRM, ERP, billing, inventory, and fulfillment systems.

• Identify opportunities to streamline order processing and improve operational efficiency

  3. Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) Expertise

• Demonstrate strong understanding of the end-to-end Quote-to-Cash process:

  • Product configuration and catalog management.

  • Pricing, discounting, and approvals.

  • Quote creation and management.

  • Contract negotiation and execution.

  • Order capture and booking.

  • Order fulfillment and provisioning.

  • Billing and invoicing.

  • Revenue recognition and collections.

• Define business requirements for quote-to-order conversion.

• Handle pricing models, discount structures, renewals, upsells, and amendments.

• Ensure seamless integration across CRM, CPQ, Order Management, ERP, and billing platforms.

• Identify process gaps and implement automation opportunities across Q2C.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define priorities and resolve conflicting requirements.

• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.

• Drive product releases and ensure successful business adoption.
