Job Description

We are looking for Material Handler for our client in Atlanta, GA

Job Title: Material Handler

Job Location: Atlanta, GA

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $15.00hr - $20.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Ability to work over time as required for business needs.
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
  • Knowledge of U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and other regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to handle chemicals with proper training provided.
  • Experience performing cycle counting.
  • Proficiency in performing material movements both physically and systematically.
  • Ability to generate Work Orders and perform Work Order Receipts in an ERP system.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all inventory is maintained accurately and provided to required areas in a timely manner.
  • Perform material movements both physically and systematically.
  • Generate Work Orders from an ERP system.
  • Perform Work Order Receipts in ERP system.
  • Perform cycle counting as required.
  • Maintain a neat and safe work environment.
  • Assist in the coordination and flow of product through manufacturing and assembly when needed.
  • Work in a cross functional team environment.
  • Handle chemicals following proper training.
  • Support all organization initiatives as identified by management in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
  • Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
  • Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
