About the Role
Position Title: Application Engineer
Bachelor/master’s degree in computer science or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
~ Minimum 3-8 years of software development experience in implementing technologies and/or vendor platforms to service the business needs.
~3+ years of developing, supporting and maintaining applications which are build / deployed in UNIX environment.
~ Proficient in development,
Unix Shell Scripting and PL/SQL
.
~ Hands on experience in HP QC, UNIX, AIX, MQ, Tidal/Autosys, Shell scripting, Jira, ServiceNow.
~ Lead and manage projects throughout the system SDLC lifecycle to meet functional goals, budget constraints and delivery timeline.
~ Excellent communication skills and flexible and adaptable to new environments.

Ability to independently manage, organize and prioritize multiple tasks, projects/BAU responsibilities.
2+ years of experience in Banking, Financial Services, payments application.
~ Good to have experience with CGI HotScan product or any other Sanction screening system.
~ Sound knowledge of wire scanning process. Different list, OFAC, Acuity, Internal and external, alert review, list management, defining rules, system tuning and scaling system of application. Installing, Upgrading, Configuring the off the shelf vendor product – developed in UNIX/JAVA/Oracle and AIX environment.

Perform application support for Compliance applications; Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis, coordinate with vendor and business to resolve critical SLA driven issues.
