The Role • Operate heavy machinery (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to efficiently move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks, ensuring timely freight movement. • Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to guarantee safety and functionality. • Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage daily logistics and container placement. • Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to established protocols. • Gain hands-on experience in a dynamic intermodal yard setting. What You'll Need • A valid driver’s license is mandatory for this position. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Demonstrated strong commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail. • Willingness to work flexible hours, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays. • Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. • Ability to pass background checks, physical, and drug screenings.
