The Role

• Installation of pipelines and cable systems for gas and drinking water networks, including local supply and service connections.
• Construction and backfilling of trenches and excavations, including the assembly of trench shoring systems.
• Performing work in public road areas, such as excavation and restoration of paved surfaces including cobblestones and asphalt.
• Operating construction machinery such as excavators, wheel loaders, and similar equipment.

What You'll Need

• Completed apprenticeship as a pipe layer, civil engineering worker, road builder, or a career changer with initial experience in civil engineering or pipe laying.
• A valid driver's license, Class B required; Class BE or higher is ideal.
• Technical understanding and manual dexterity, along with enjoyment of working with construction machinery and technical equipment.
• A strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and reliability.
