Summary: • Administer, secure, and monitor production Linux virtual machines across hybrid cloud and virtualization platforms including VMware and AWS. • Maintain Ansible automation playbooks and oversee Kubernetes cluster health utilizing Rancher and Docker. • Manage Apache NiFi dataflow deployments, certificate lifecycles, and ongoing operating system security hardening.

Qualifications && Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 8+ years • Total Compensation: $306k+ yearly Job Description: • Administer, secure, and maintain Linux virtual machines (RHEL 8/9) across OpenStack, VMware, and AWS environments. • Monitor and troubleshoot production Linux VMs and Kubernetes clusters to ensure node and pod health via Rancher and CLI tools. • Maintain Ansible playbooks to push software updates, security patches, and configuration changes through YUM and enterprise repositories. • Support Apache NiFi deployments by managing configuration updates, monitoring dataflows, and resolving connectivity and resource issues. • Oversee the full server and PKI certificate lifecycle to maintain compliance with STIG and SSP security requirements. • Perform log analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause identification for VM, container, and application-level performance issues. • Partner with development teams and end users to provide operational support ranging from routine configurations to complex cluster builds.
