Infosys Consulting is seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA) with strong Insurance and Health Insurance domain expertise to support large scale Claims Transformation programs. The role will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements within an Agile delivery environment.
The successful candidate will bring a blend of business analysis capability, insurance domain knowledge, and Agile delivery experience, enabling effective collaboration across business, technology, and operations teams to deliver customer centric and regulatory compliant outcomes.

Key Responsibilities- Business Analysis & Requirements Management
- Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements across claims, policy servicing, and customer journeys
- Translate business needs into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned to programme and product objectives
- Support end to end requirements management across discovery, delivery, testing, and implementation phases
- Ensure requirements are clear, prioritised, traceable, and aligned with business outcomes and regulatory standards
- Claims Transformation Delivery
- Support the delivery of Claims Transformation initiatives, including process re engineering, digitisation, system modernisation, and capability uplift
- Work closely with claims operations, underwriting, customer service, and technology teams to improve efficiency, customer experience, and compliance
- Contribute to transformation programs involving core claims platforms, workflow systems, rules engines, and digital channels
- Agile Delivery Support
- Operate as an Agile Business Analyst within Scrum or SAFe teams
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Partner closely with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to support prioritisation, scope definition, and value delivery
- Enable the squad to deliver iterative, high quality outcomes with a strong customer and business value focus
- Stakeholder & Domain Engagement
- Engage with Insurance and Health Insurance business stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, and future state needs
- Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring a shared understanding of requirements and outcomes
- Support change management and business readiness activities, including workshops, walkthroughs, and UAT support
- Risk, Compliance & Governance
- Ensure requirements and solutions align with insurance regulatory, risk, and compliance obligations
- Identify risks, issues, and dependencies early and elevate as required
- Support governance processes through accurate documentation and audit ready artefacts
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Insurance or Health Insurance environments
- Strong hands on experience working on Claims Transformation programs
- Demonstrated experience as an Agile BA, working in Scrum or SAFe delivery models
- Strong requirements elicitation and documentation skills (epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows)
- Experience working closely with Product Owners, delivery teams, and senior business stakeholders
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience delivering transformation initiatives within claims platforms, policy systems, or digital insurance products
- Exposure to regulated environments and collaboration with risk, compliance, privacy, and legal teams
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro, Visio
- Consulting or professional services background
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Information Systems, Technology, or a related discipline
- Relevant BA or Agile certifications (CBAP, CCBA, Agile BA, SAFe, Scrum) - desirable
