Job description

Summary:

We are seeking a talented and innovative Mobile App Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms. The Mobile App Developer will work closely with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to create user-friendly and high-performance mobile applications that meet business requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms using modern programming languages and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Integrate mobile applications with backend services and APIs to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation to ensure high-quality app performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in mobile app development and technology.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.
  • Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure timely delivery of features.
  • Test applications across different devices and operating system versions to ensure compatibility and a consistent user experience.
  • Maintain and update existing mobile applications, implementing new features and addressing any issues that arise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in mobile app development for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as Swift, Kotlin, Java, or React Native.
  • Strong understanding of mobile app development principles, including UI/UX design, API integration, and performance optimisation.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and development tools (e.g., Xcode, Android Studio).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
