Job Description

Location: South West London - approximately 2 days per week onsite
Contract Type: 12-month fixed-term contract
Salary: £60,000-£70,000
The Opportunity

A £200m multi-brand retail business is beginning a major ERP transformation, implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management across its portfolio of brands.
The first brand is targeted to go live before Christmas, with the wider programme due to complete by October 2027. A systems integrator is being appointed to deliver the implementation, supported by a small internal team sitting between the SI and the wider business.
They now need a hands-on D365 Integration Specialist to help understand, design and deliver the integrations surrounding the new ERP platform.
The Role

Working alongside the Project Manager, Business Analyst, Data resource and internal SMEs, you will take ownership of the integration landscape between D365 and the organisation's existing platforms.
This will include integrations with ecommerce, store operations, CRM, HR, product information and data platforms. Some systems may remain outside D365, while others could change as the programme develops, so you will need to understand the current environment, identify dependencies and help shape the right approach.
This is a lean business and not a heavily governed corporate environment. You will need to be comfortable getting into the detail, solving problems and adapting as priorities change.
Main Responsibilities
  • Map the existing integration landscape and identify system dependencies
  • Work with the SI, BA and business SMEs to define integration requirements
  • Support the design and delivery of integrations into D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management
  • Produce interface specifications, data mappings and process documentation
  • Coordinate integration activity across ERP, ecommerce, HR, CRM, store and product platforms
  • Help separate systems that currently sit within shared or interconnected environments
  • Assess the impact of decisions around platforms that may remain outside D365
  • Support integration testing, defect resolution, reconciliation and business sign-off
  • Identify risks, gaps and sequencing issues across the different workstreams
  • Challenge proposed solutions and ensure integrations meet the practical needs of the business
  • Support cutover, go-live and the transition into ongoing support
Required Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience delivering integrations as part of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management implementation
  • Strong understanding of ERP integrations, interfaces, data flows and system dependencies
  • Experience translating business requirements into clear technical integration specifications
  • Knowledge of APIs, middleware, data entities and file-based integration approaches
  • Experience working with systems integrators and internal business stakeholders
  • Strong troubleshooting, testing and defect-management skills
  • Comfortable working across Finance, Supply Chain and wider operational systems
  • Able to work independently within a lean and fast-moving environment
  • Hands-on, pragmatic and willing to work without extensive governance or established process
Desirable
  • Previous retail, ecommerce or multi-brand business experience
  • Experience integrating D365 with Shopify, Workday, CRM, PIM or store operations platforms
  • Knowledge of Microsoft integration technologies such as Azure Integration Services, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Power Platform or Dataverse
  • Experience supporting an AX-to-D365 migration
  • Exposure to phased ERP rollouts across multiple brands or legal entities
