Position Overview:
This positions serves LEONI’s North American Development Department with design expertise to create and maintain E/E schematics in LEONI and customer’s systems. The candidate should possess the capabilities to independently process E/E systems designs and to represent LEONI in front of our customers. This position reports directly to our Team Leader Harness Design in Troy, Michigan.
Job Profile Description
- Import electrical device and subsystem information and process into schematics (hrn/cmp/csv files)
- Determine inline and splice positioning
- Create inline listings and pin-out
- Perform resistance checks to meet system requirements
- Create system level DVP&R
- Assist in wire harness troubleshooting for the full vehicle
- Assist in the performance of relevant engineering tools e.g. DFMEA, Design Reviews
- Support all customer meetings and request
- Engineering degree (Mechanical/Electrical/Automotive preferred)
- 3 years’ experience in in executing full vehicle systems engineering projects (Stellantis preferred)
- Experience in Capital Logic/Integrator or equivalent schematics design tool
- Proficient English speaking and writing skills
- Good team work and interpersonal skills
- Problem solving skills
- Willingness to travel
