Job Description:

• Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot API microservices for case management, work queues, financials, scheduling, and document generation.
• Implement business rules and step-by-step workflows tailored to each court type.
• Build data access across Amazon RDS, MongoDB, and OpenSearch, including search indexing for cases, contacts, statutes, and documents.
• Build integrations with payment gateways, e-signature, notification (Amazon SES/SNS), and state agency interfaces.
• Implement role-based permissions, case sealing, and audit logging according to security requirements.
• Write unit and integration tests; work through GitHub pull requests and GitHub Actions pipelines; support QA and fix defects promptly.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint ceremonies, estimation, and technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

• 9+ years of professional backend application development in Java (Spring Boot).
• Hands-on experience building API-based microservices (REST, JSON, OpenAPI/Swagger, API versioning).
• Strong experience with Amazon RDS (PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle) and SQL, plus MongoDB and an ORM (Hibernate/JPA).
• Working experience with OpenSearch (or Elasticsearch): indexing, mappings, and query DSL.
• Daily use of GitHub (branching, pull requests, code reviews) and GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD.
• Hands-on AWS experience: ECS/EKS or Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch.
• Working knowledge of OAuth2/JWT and secure coding; comfortable in Agile/Scrum teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Event-driven processing with Amazon MSK/Kafka, EventBridge, or Step Functions.
• Exposure to Amazon Bedrock or GenAI/RAG integrations.
• AWS Certified Developer – Associate.
