Job Description

Papiertechnologe | Wörth am Rhein, Germany | Hybrid

We're hiring on behalf of a leading European paper industry company that is a key player in graphic papers, corrugated base paper, and corrugated packaging. This family-owned business is committed to sustainability, utilizing 100% recycled paper as its raw material. They are seeking a skilled Professional to join their dynamic production team.

The Role

  • Operate and monitor production machinery from a control room and on-site.
  • Start up and shut down the paper machine, managing paper web breaks.
  • Perform equipment maintenance, including roll changes and instruction of support staff.
  • Clean machinery components and replace scrapers.
  • Adjust and verify paper web tension.
  • Oversee quality parameters using control systems and laboratory data.

What You'll Need

  • Completed apprenticeship as a Paper Technologist or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience as a Paper Technologist is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and demonstrate flexibility and resilience.
  • Willingness to work in a 5-shift operational model.
