Infra Delivery Install Technician

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking an Infra Delivery Install Technician to support infrastructure delivery in AWS data centers. In this role, you will rack and stack servers, install network and power hardware, run and label copper and fiber cabling, and perform basic hardware testing to ensure capacity is delivered on time. You'll follow detailed build documents, update tickets and asset records, and collaborate closely with operations and networking teams. You'll work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment that values ownership, high standards, and continual learning with exposure to cutting-edge cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Rack, stack, and install servers, storage, and network equipment in AWS data centers
• Run, terminate, and label copper and fiber cabling according to standards
• Install and verify power connections, cable management, and patching
• Execute build documents, MOPs, and checklists to deliver new capacity
• Perform basic hardware testing, troubleshooting, and replacement of failed components
• Maintain accurate asset, inventory, and port records in ticketing and tracking systems
• Collaborate with operations, networking, and security teams to coordinate installs
• Follow safety, security, and compliance procedures within the data center
• Assist with decommissioning, moves, adds, and changes for infrastructure hardware
• Contribute to continuous improvement of installation processes and documentation
