RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Strategic Program Manager in Alviso, CA.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead planning, execution, evaluation, and strategic expansion of Service Provider, OEM, and customer engagement event portfolio. This individual will identify new event opportunities, manage event execution, gather competitive intelligence, and provide recommendations on future investments and participation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and execution for industry events, Service Provider/OEM Academies, Tech Days, customer programs, and executive engagement activities
  • Research and identify emerging industry conferences and events across key growth segments including: Telecommunications; Service Providers; OEMs; Healthcare; Defense; Manufacturing; Other strategic growth markets
  • Develop recommendations regarding event participation and investment priorities for future fiscal years
  • Create and manage project plans, milestones, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder coordination activities
  • Coordinate event messaging, demos, executive participation, and cross-functional readiness
  • Establish a framework for: Competitive intelligence gathering; Lead tracking; Event performance measurement; Post-event reporting
  • Attend selected events independently and represent the organization
  • Capture and document market observations, customer feedback, competitor activity, photos, and engagement outcomes
  • Measure and report event ROI including: Executive engagements; Customer meetings; Technical SME participation; Pipeline influence; Key customer outcomes
  • Deliver post-event assessments and recommendations regarding future participation and investment decisions

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-10 years of program management, event strategy, or marketing program experience
  • Experience supporting enterprise technology organizations
  • Experience conducting competitive analysis and business impact assessments
  • Telecommunications, Service Provider, OEM, infrastructure, or data center market knowledge
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • Ability to travel approximately 10 times per year, with occasional week-long event support

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
