Job Description

Role: Resident Service Engineer(Industrial Automation/Control Systems Engineer)
Location: Louisiana (Hybrid)

Job Description:

The client is looking for an experienced Industrial Automation/Control Systems Engineer who can provide on-site support for DCS systems at a customer plant. The engineer will troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade, and commission DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems to ensure continuous plant operations.

·       DCS (CENTUM / ProSafe-RS)

·       PLC Programming & Troubleshooting

·       SCADA / Distributed Control Systems

·       Commissioning, Maintenance & Lifecycle Support




Key Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain DCS (CENTUM/ProSafe-RS) systems.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and upgrade PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
  • Perform commissioning, startup, testing, and preventive maintenance.
  • Work with control logic, HMI, I/O configuration, interlocks, and sequencing.
  • Troubleshoot industrial networks and control system issues.
  • Read P&IDs, loop diagrams, and control narratives.
  • Support plant shutdowns, outages, and emergency troubleshooting.
  • Create engineering documentation using AutoCAD.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers.
  • Travel to customer sites across the Gulf Region as needed.
