Job Description

Are you looking to take the next step in your disability management career? We have a leadership position available in Ipswich. Join our team and play a key role in leading the day to day delivery of high quality, person centred services. As a Service Coordinator you will oversee service operations to ensure supports align with client needs, goals and NDIS requirements, while creating a safe, engaging and inclusive environment for both clients and staff.

About the role

As a Team Leader you will oversee the day to day operations of the service, ensuring high quality, person centred supports that promote choice, independence and community inclusion. You will lead and support frontline staff, manage service delivery, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance, operational efficiency and positive outcomes for clients.

Role Responsibilities
  • Coordinate day to day operations of the day program including household accounts.
  • Act as the first point of escalation and support for site team members.
  • Lead, coach and supervise frontline staff to build capability and foster a positive team culture.
  • Manage workforce planning, rostering and resource allocation to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Monitor service performance and ensure compliance with regulatory and organisational requirements.
  • Ensure all mandatory reporting, including incident and compliance reporting, is completed accurately and on time.
  • Drive the ongoing development and improvement of day program activities and services.
  • Build effective relationships with clients, families and internal stakeholders to support individual goals and outcomes.
  • Ensure site properties and facilities are maintained to appropriate standards.
To be successful in this role
  • Minimum Cert IV in Disability or Individual Support, or equivalent experience in disability support.
  • Experience managing and supervising staff and client outcomes in multiple accommodation settings or day programs.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the NDIS, principles of active support and a human rights based approach to service delivery.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient computer literacy in MS Office Suite and online systems.
  • Practical experience in achieving community inclusion.
  • Ability to transport clients in Achieve Australia vehicles (automatic gearbox) across the region. Candidates without a current QLD driver's licence are subject to a risk assessment.
