Business Systems Analyst II
Location: New Albany, Ohio (Hybrid)
Schedule: M-F 8-5. Hybrid 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.
Length: 4+ Month W2 Contract with expectation to extend and/or convert to FTE
Role Overview
The organization seeks a qualified Business Systems Analyst II to support critical enterprise systems. The successful candidate will lead requirements elicitation sessions and bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This position requires collaboration with product owners, business teams, and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead business requirements elicitation sessions with business teams, product owners, and stakeholders.
• Document current-state and future-state business processes to define team workflows.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, process flows, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate workshops to define minimum viable product (MVP), must-have, and future-state capabilities.
• Partner with solution vendors and implementation partners to evaluate system capabilities and identify process gaps.
• Analyze impacts to upstream and downstream systems, integrations, reports, and operational procedures.
• Support data mapping activities across source systems, interfaces, and reporting requirements.
• Assist in defining master data, compliance data, trade classifications, inventory, and shipment-related requirements.
• Create and maintain process documentation, requirements traceability, decision logs, and project artifacts.

Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field of study.
Experience: Minimum of five years of business analysis experience leading medium to large enterprise system implementations within agile and hybrid project delivery environments.
Technical Skills: Proven expertise in requirements gathering across multiple business functions, process mapping, data mapping, and project artifact documentation.
Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with sourcing, merchandising, inventory management, or trade compliance processes.
• Relevant professional certifications in business analysis or agile methodologies.
