Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP CAR (Customer Activity Repository) & IS-Retail Consultant to support the design, implementation, and optimization of retail solutions on SAP. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in retail business processes, POS data integration, and real-time analytics within the SAP retail ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and configure SAP CAR modules including POS DTA, Omni-Channel Article Availability (OAA), and Promotion Management

Support end-to-end SAP IS-Retail implementations covering merchandising, assortment planning, and store operations

Integrate CAR with SAP HANA, POS systems, and downstream retail applications

Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional/technical specifications

Troubleshoot data replication issues between POS/DTA and CAR

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SD, MM, WM/EWM) for retail process alignment

Support UAT, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience in SAP CAR (POS DTA, OAA, Promotion, Demand Data Foundation)

Solid understanding of SAP IS-Retail (Merchandise Management, Article Master, Site Master)

Experience with SAP HANA/S4HANA Retail environment

Knowledge of POS interface and retail data integration

Strong analytical and client communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP certification in CAR/IS-Retail

Experience in full lifecycle retail implementations

Exposure to S/4HANA Retail for merchandise management
