Mechanical Building Maintenance Engineer

Position: Mechanical Building Maintenance Engineer<br />Type: Permanent<br />Basic: up to £43,000<br />Location: York<br />We are recruiting for a multi skilled maintenance engineer based in the York area covering the maintenance of a large scale estate.

The role will involve general mechanical aspects of building maintenance including plant room, basic plumbing, HVAC and compliance etc.<br />The role is a permanent position paying up to £43,000 basic and based on a shift pattern:

Shifts from 6am to 6pm<br />Week one - Mon,Tues,Fri,Sat,Sun<br />Week two - Wed,Thurs Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Duties:<br />Completing PPM and reactive maintenance to:<br />Mechanical Plant room<br />Pumps and valves<br />Plumbing maintenance<br />Basic AHU/fan coil upkeep<br />Checks and compliance duties including water/tap temps etc.<br />Small works installation<br />Emergency repairs<br />All ad- hoc maintenance tasks Requirements:<br />A qualified Mechanical Engineer or Commercial grade plumber<br />Experience of plant room, AHU's, FCU's etc.<br />Previous PPM and reactive maintenance experience<br />Excellent client facing skills<br />Valid driving license<br />Willingness to complete fabric and plumbing tasks<br />Willing and ability to pass a PVG check If you are interested then please click the APPLY button now<br />PRS are a leading specialist recruitment and search &amp; selection consultancy within the Building Services, FM and Support Sectors.<br />Please note if you have not heard from us within 5 days, then your application has not been successful.<br />PRS is an equal opportunities employer
