Otolaryngologist (ENT) (MD/DO)
Position Summary
The Otolaryngologist provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. This role includes evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of otolaryngologic conditions, delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care across outpatient and inpatient settings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with disorders of the ear, nose, throat, and related head and neck structures
- Diagnose and treat conditions such as sinus disease, hearing loss, balance disorders, voice and swallowing disorders, sleep apnea, and head and neck infections
- Perform otolaryngologic surgical procedures consistent with training and privileges
- Provide medical and surgical management of head and neck conditions, including benign and malignant disease as applicable
- Perform and interpret diagnostic testing including audiologic and endoscopic evaluations
- Provide inpatient consultation services and outpatient clinic care
- Collaborate with primary care providers, speech therapy, audiology, oncology, and other specialists
- Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and outcomes initiatives
- Supervise and educate residents, fellows, advanced practice providers, or clinical staff as applicable
- Comply with all regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery residency program
- Fellowship training in an otolaryngology subspecialty preferred but not required
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Otolaryngology
- Ability to obtain and maintain unrestricted state medical licensure
- DEA registration or eligibility

Work Environment
- Outpatient ENT clinics, hospital operating rooms, and inpatient settings
- Call coverage including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods during procedures and surgeries
- Manual dexterity for fine surgical and endoscopic techniques
- Visual and auditory acuity sufficient for patient assessment and operative care
Must maintain state certification and/or licensure.
