Job Title: Cloud Security Engineer
Location: Hybrid – Holyoke, MA
Contract: 12+ Months | W2 Only
Schedule: Onsite Tuesday–Thursday (3 days/week) | Eastern Time business hours

Job Summary

Seeking a Cloud Security Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience securing AWS and Microsoft Azure environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in multi-cloud security, Kubernetes/EKS, ECS Fargate, aw, IAM, CSPM/CIEM, and cloud security monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Secure AWS and Azure environments using cloud security best practices.

• Monitor and investigate security events using Splunk and cloud-native security tools.

• Analyze and remediate CSPM/CIEM findings, IAM issues, and cloud misconfigurations.

• Secure Kubernetes (EKS) and ECS Fargate workloads.

• Implement security controls for CI/CD pipelines, including code, dependency, IaC, and secrets scanning.

• Perform cloud security architecture, IAM, and Terraform/CloudFormation security reviews.

• Work with AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, CNAPP, and Tenable.

• Document security findings, remediation plans, procedures, and provide knowledge transfer.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of cloud security engineering/operations experience.

• Strong AWS and Azure security experience.

• Experience with Splunk, IAM/Entra ID, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, CSPM, and CIEM.

• Knowledge of least privilege, conditional access, cross-account access, and cloud security architecture.

• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

• AWS/Azure/CISSP/CCSP certifications preferred.
