Senior Software Engineer – Cloud & Full Stack Development

This is a Sr. Software Engineer Position

This role is hybrid in the Woburn, Westborough or Cary Offices ( Tues- Thurs in office )

- AWS or Microsoft Azure experience required - minimum of 3-4 years of experience
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm - minimum of 3-4 years of experience
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Kotlin and Python required - minimum of 5-6 years of experience
- Familiarity with user interface (UI) frameworks such as Angular, React, Ember, and Bootstrap - nice to have
- Nice to have experience with Mule and Salesforce

The Team

We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to support our IT organization. The IT team delivers high-quality software solutions that provide measurable business value. In this role, you will work closely with senior team members to analyze requirements, propose software designs, define database standards, and provide production support as needed. As a Software Engineer, you will own the technical design and implementation of software solutions and their underlying data technologies, working with a modern technology stack.

What You Need to Succeed

Education and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience (required).

Required Knowledge

• Familiarity with designing web-based, component-based, distributed, and N-tier solutions, and with deploying scalable, reliable systems.
• Familiarity with methodologies such as RAD, UML, or other object-oriented design approaches.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Bitbucket or GitHub.

Technical Skills (experience with one or more of the following is required)

• Programming languages: Java, Kotlin, Python, and Web Services
• Web applications: Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, and Hibernate
• Search and data: Elasticsearch, and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, etc.)
• Cloud and integration platforms: MuleSoft, AWS, Azure, and CDN services
• Salesforce: Apex-based solution design, development, and programming
• DevOps tools: Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• UI frameworks: Angular, React, Ember, and Bootstrap
