Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with strong Wealth Management domain expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and deliver scalable technology solutions supporting wealth management operations and client services.
The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, experience working in Agile environments, and a deep understanding of wealth management platforms, investment products, and financial advisory workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for Wealth Management applications and platforms.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, financial advisors, operations teams, and technology teams to define business solutions.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and technical documentation.
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements for operational efficiency and automation.
- Support development, testing, UAT, and implementation activities for wealth management systems.
- Work closely with QA teams to validate system functionality and ensure business requirements are met.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including development, architecture, compliance, and operations.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Support integrations between portfolio management systems, CRM platforms, reporting tools, and third-party financial systems.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, data governance, and security standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst.
- Strong experience in Wealth Management, Private Banking, Investment Management, or Financial Services.
- Experience gathering and documenting functional and technical requirements.
- Strong understanding of wealth management products including equities, fixed income, mutual funds, ETFs, retirement products, and managed accounts.
- Experience working with portfolio management, client onboarding, financial planning, and advisory platforms.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies including Agile/Scrum and Waterfall.
- Experience with SQL for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
