Profee Physician/Coding Auditor and Educator | United States | Remote | $30 - $45 per hour

We are seeking a seasoned auditor and educator for a leading healthcare consulting firm with a long-standing reputation for providing expert talent to top institutions nationwide. This role is crucial in optimizing revenue cycle and health information management solutions.

The Role

• Conduct comprehensive audits of professional fee coding to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Provide expert education and training to physicians and coding staff.
• Analyze coding data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights for improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address coding-related issues and denials.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on audit findings and educational outcomes.

What You'll Need

• Certification through AHIMA or AAPC.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional fee coding and auditing experience.
• Proven experience in providing education to physicians and/or coders.
• Demonstrated experience in chart auditing for multi-specialty professional fee services within large health systems.
• Experience with reporting, data compilation, and presentation creation is required.
• Experience with denials management and complex specialty surgeries is highly preferred.
