Job Description

Position: NOC Administrator
Location: Arlington, VA
Clearance: Top Secret REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Active TS Clearance (TS/SCI preferred; SCI can be processed)
Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570/8750 IAT Level II Certification
Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Strong Layer 3 networking knowledge
Experience with routing and switching
Hands-on configuration of Cisco routers and switches
Experience with OSPF and BGP
CLI experience supporting network devices
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience monitoring network availability, performance, and security
AWS experience NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
DISA experience or support of DISA mission partners
IPSEC and Site-to-Site VPN troubleshooting
VLAN configuration experience
802.1X authentication and configuration
Firewall administration experience
Palo Alto firewall experience
Experience in highly customized network environments JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking a TS Network Administrator to sit in Arlington, VA.

This is an opportunity to join a highly technical team that values strong networking fundamentals and advanced troubleshooting skills over product-specific experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, Layer 3 networking, routing and switching, OSPF, and BGP in a complex enterprise environment. In this role, you will monitor and maintain network infrastructure, troubleshoot sophisticated network issues, support security initiatives, and participate in network engineering projects. This is not a traditional ticket-escalation NOC position.

The team is looking for individuals who understand network architecture, can think critically through problems, and are comfortable working in a highly customized environment. While Palo Alto firewalls are utilized, the team is willing to train candidates who possess strong networking expertise and a proven ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Compensation

$50/hr to $59/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
