Mobile Forklift Engineer - Middlesborough

Job Title: Field service engineer<br />Basic Salary: £33,000–£38,000<br />OTE: £39,188–£45,125 (based on 5 hours' overtime per week)<br />Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm, 40hrs Due to an increasing workload, we are recruiting for a forklift engineer – you will be working for a well-established, employee-focused forklift and material handling company.

Your responsibilities will include:<br />Performing servicing, maintenance and repair work on a broad range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment<br />Identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues<br />Carrying out LOLER inspections to ensure all equipment remains fully compliant<br />Completing safety checks and pre-delivery inspections<br />Responding to breakdowns and conducting reactive maintenance to reduce customer downtime<br />Effectively organising and managing your workload and service schedule<br />Accurately filling out service reports and job sheets<br />Communicating with parts departments to ensure the correct components are sourced and installed<br />What you’ll need:<br />Experience as a Forklift engineer is essential, due to location (you will be fully independent) Proven experience of diesel engines<br />Strong experience with electrics, hydraulics and diagnostic skills<br />Full UK driving licence<br />Your Package:<br />Basic Salary: £33,000–£38,000<br />OTE: £39,188–£45,125 (based on 5 hours' overtime per week)<br />OTE: £45,376–£52,250 (based on 10 hours' overtime per week)<br />Overtime paid at 1.5x<br />Company pension scheme<br />25 days holiday plus bank (increasing with service) Company van fuel card provided
