Advanced Emergency Medical Technician

• Location: Nashville, TN
• Facility: Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown of work site
• Department: Emergency Room
• Schedule: Evening Shift  l  Full-time

• Lead emergency response by rapidly assessing scenes and executing immediate, high-priority care plans.
• Deliver precision care using advanced medical equipment to treat and stabilize patients during critical moments.
• Ensure care continuity by monitoring vitals and providing clear, real-time clinical briefings to the nursing team.
• Guarantee safe transit by managing the physical mobilization and transport of patients with a focus on their comfort and safety.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.  American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Drivers License credentialed from the Tennessee Bureau of Motor Vehicles obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the Tennessee Emergency Medical Services Division obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's

degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
