Experienced Manufacturing Engineer - 2nd shift

Location: San Antonio, Texas (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking an Experienced Manufacturing Engineer for a 2nd shift position in San Antonio, TX. The selected candidate will support the technical statement of work for the production engineering team by developing and implementing production and tooling methodologies. This role involves participation on Integrated Product Teams to integrate technical solutions and leading manufacturing plan implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies.
• Participate on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
• Develop, identify, and implement conceptual designs and maintain the program architecture for build.
• Lead and implement manufacturing plans.
• Conduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability matches requirements.
• Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions.
• Resolve technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost, or schedule.
• Coordinate and implement new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies, and concepts.
• Validate and ensure production readiness of solutions to complex problems.
• Implement lean principles and technologies.
• Review electrical design requirements and approve new releases and revisions to existing designs.
• Translate design requirements from Electronic Bill of Materials (EBOM) to Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM).

Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field is required.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing planning or engineering is required.

Technical Skills: Experience with GOLD is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with Boeing is preferred.

Work Environment

• This position requires working in a factory environment and the ability to withstand related conditions, such as walking and using steps and scaffolding.
• The work schedule is a 4x10 second shift.
• Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement.
