5-Axis CNC Programmer / Machinist

Description Bring your 5-axis Mastercam expertise to a clean, air-conditioned, modern shop in Largo, Florida—where you’ll own programs through finished parts with real autonomy and current Mazak equipment. This 5-Axis CNC Programmer / Machinist opportunity is full-time on site, Monday through Friday, first shift. Qualifications and responsibilities for this 5-Axis CNC Programmer / Machinist position include: 5+ years programming CNC mills in Mastercam, including independently generating and running simultaneous 5-axis toolpaths from 3D models (beyond 3+2 positioning).

Independently set up, prove out, and run your own programs to completion—no handoff to an operator. Program 3- through 5-axis milling work in Mastercam from customer and in-house 3D models. Hold tight tolerances on mold components, knife components, and outside machining work. Willingness to train teammates on Mastercam and 5-axis methods as the shop grows. Pitch in on fixturing, tooling, and shop organization in a three-person precision shop. Ability to work fully on site in Largo, Florida, Monday-Friday on first shift.

Salary: $45-$60/hour, based on experience.
