CNC Programmers And Machinists

This CNC Programmer role combines advanced CAM programming with hands-on shop-floor support to help drive quality, efficiency, and first-piece success. Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Programmers And Machinists position include: 4+ years of CNC programming experience (Mastercam required).

Creates medium to high complexity CNC milling programs using 3+ axis CAM software, with strong offline work and accurate simulation. Programs and supports machining processes including downloading programs to CNC contr ols and assisting with initial setup/prove-out and first-piece approval. Diagnoses, analyzes, and troubleshoots CNC programs and machining issues. Reviews engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring compatibility with manufacturing capabilities and recommending revisions to improve productivity.

Reprocesses and/or modifies existing programs to increase efficiency and productivity. Works with Quality on a robust CMM/manual inspection process and supports tooling/gauging documentation. Spends significant time on the shop floor supporting machinists, including walking between the programming workstation and the manufacturing floor.

Salary: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
