Registered Nurse Wound Care Clinic

• Location: Indianapolis, IN
• Facility: Ascension St. Vincent
• Department/Specialty: Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Center
• Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shift | Full-time
  

• Evaluates patient discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Establishes, tracks, and manages patient care plans while observing, documenting, and reporting status updates.
• Acts as the main coordinator across all medical disciplines to deliver seamless care.
• Fulfills and reviews nursing and physician directives.
  

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works.
  • One or more of the following:
    • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
    • Instructor specializing in Basic Life Support obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences:

• Wound Care experience
• Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (WOC) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
