Job description

About the Role

Join an engineering team building AI-powered software for drug discovery and life sciences. You will shape foundational product systems that help researchers work with complex scientific data and workflows.

What You'll Do

  • Build product features and systems from the ground up across the frontend and backend.

  • Design, develop, and own scalable services, APIs, and data pipelines across application, identity, data storage, and machine learning layers.

  • Ship production code in fast-moving development cycles and iterate on features based on user needs.

  • Partner with engineers, product managers, designers, and AI scientists to turn scientific workflows into intuitive, high-performance software.

  • Own features from early development through deployment, iteration, and scale.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 10 years of professional full-stack or backend engineering experience, excluding internships.

  • Strong proficiency in Python and React, with experience building production systems used by customers.

  • Experience designing scalable systems, databases, data-intensive applications, backend services, and REST APIs. Django experience is a plus.

  • Familiarity with GraphQL and cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, plus SQL experience.

  • A degree in computer science, STEM, or a related technical field, or equivalent technical skills.

  • Experience building products in an early-stage or high-growth startup environment and collaborating closely in high-communication teams.

  • Curiosity about life sciences, drug discovery, or computational biology, and interest in engaging deeply with complex product challenges.
