Job description

Role: Gen AI Architect

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 days office in a week)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software architecture, data architecture, machine learning, cloud engineering, or related technology roles.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing generative AI or large language model solutions.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • LLMs and foundation models
    • Prompt engineering
    • Retrieval-augmented generation
    • Vector databases and semantic search
    • AI agents and tool calling
    • Model fine-tuning and evaluation
    • MLOps and LLMOps
    • Machine learning and data pipelines
  • Experience with one or more cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong programming experience in Python and familiarity with APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with frameworks and technologies such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, OpenAI APIs, Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, Vertex AI, or equivalent platforms.
  • Experience working with relational databases, NoSQL databases, data lakes, and vector stores.
  • Knowledge of AI security, data privacy, identity and access management, and enterprise governance.
  • Proven experience leading architecture discussions and delivering solutions in complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
