Senior Network Engineer - NYC or Miami- Award-Winning Global Market Maker

Summary

Network Engineers wanted for a leading market maker to join their fast-paced, dynamic engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the high-performance infrastructure supporting mission-critical trading on one of the world's most powerful platforms.

In this role, you will design, build, and operate network infrastructure and services across a global environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be needed as you work closely with engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and low-latency connectivity across the firm.

You will find and resolve issues, plan and execute deployments, and optimize network & system performance where possible, including automation and operational tooling to enhance efficiency. This role would suit someone who enjoys driving infrastructure modernization initiatives, evaluating emerging technologies, and contributing to security, resiliency, & operational best practices.

Requirements

• Solid experience designing & supporting large-scale network infrastructure in financial services, technology, telecommunications, or other performance-sensitive environments
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (including routing, switching, and network protocols)
• Experience with Linux-based systems and infrastructure operations
• Exposure to automation, scripting, and infrastructure engineering practices
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience supporting low-latency or highly available environments is preferred
• Nice to have: networking knowledge in C++
