  • Lead on continuous improvement activity, identifying opportunities to enhance systems, processes and service delivery.
  • Support the implementation of new policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and legislative changes.
  • Provide advice and support on complex, sensitive or high-profile matters.
  • Promote a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing team culture.

About You

You will have strong experience within adjudications, professional regulation, fitness to practise or a comparable decision-making environment. You will be comfortable managing competing priorities while maintaining a consistent, high-quality service.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Experience working within a professional regulator or similar regulatory organisation.
  • A strong understanding of adjudication, regulatory decision-making, governance and casework processes.
  • Experience managing performance, conducting appraisals and supporting employee development.
  • Experience allocating work, managing capacity and monitoring delivery against KPIs and service standards.
  • Strong quality assurance skills, with the ability to ensure consistency and accuracy in decision-making.
  • The ability to interpret and apply legislation, policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience delivering operational improvements and managing change.

  • Experience supporting or managing hearings, tribunals or formal decision-making processes.
  • Continuous improvement, project management or change management experience.
