ONSITE ROLE.

Junior Mechanical Packaging test Engineer

Packaging Validation

Perform packaging qualification testing such as:

Random vibration

Rotational drop testing

Free-fall drop testing

Transit simulation testing

Package integrity assessments

Coordinate sample receipt, test scheduling, test execution, and final reporting with packaging engineering and product teams.

Documentation & Data Management

Maintain test records, EDCS documentation, technical reviews (TRs), and qualification reports

Review and approve test data packages and ensure traceability of calibration records and equipment usage.

Support report generation, data verification, and audit readiness activities.

Lab Operations

Manage test schedules and laboratory resources including:

Environmental chambers

Seismic tables

Vibration systems

Shock equipment

Packaging test fixtures

Ensure safe operation of test equipment and compliance with laboratory procedures.

Minimum Requirements

Education

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.

Technical Skills

Knowledge of packaging qualification methodologies and transportation testing.

Understanding of vibration, shock, seismic, temperature, humidity, and altitude testing.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, product configurations, and test plans.

Familiarity with test instrumentation, sensors, accelerometers, data acquisition systems, and traffic-generation platforms.

Able to lift 50lbs

Documentation & Compliance

Experience with technical documentation systems such as test reports, and engineering change documentation.

Ability to write and review procedures, test reports, and qualification records.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with external certification labs

Experience operating environmental chambers, vibrationshock systems, and seismic tables.
