Senior Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

Overview VTG is a patriotic DSP Algorithms RF Systems Engineer to join our team in Hanover, MD. This position will support a mission-focused customer developing, deploying, and maintaining Radio Frequency processing systems. Eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000, making this an exceptional opportunity to join a mission-critical team supporting national security initiatives. #Triaplex #VTG What will you do? * Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) systems with understanding of analog to digital dataflow and conversion processes
* Access production Nifi and ensure that inbound data is operational/flowing correctly.
* Data management requests (DMRs) and change (DCRs) submissions.
* Preliminary system design with capability to explain system design to stakeholders
* Coordinate any data samples needed.
* Prior experience with requesting IPs be added to System Security Plans
* Ensure there are no backlogs/errors of data. * Assist customers with data formatting issues.
* Experience with creating and updating engineering and RF antenna drawings and network diagrams
* Capable of creating dataflow diagrams documenting the network connections required for system functionality
* Experience with Confluence/Jira used for communication and documentation Do you have what it takes? * US Citizen with TS/SCI with Poly clearance required * Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline is DSP Algorithms from an accredited college or university * Seven (7) years of experience as a DSP Algorithm developer on projects with similar software processes. * Seven (7) years of experience with C++, Linux, Python, or similar development language. * Four (4) years of Radio Frequency Software or equivalent experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bacehlor's degree. May substitute two (2) years of experience with Master's of Science in Engineering or Computer Science. * Active IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570 compliant certification (i.e., Security+) preferred. VTG's estimated starting pay range is $100K-$150K annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
