Job Title: Senior Tax Analyst – Accounting Systems & AI Testing

Job Description:

We are hiring a Senior Tax Analyst to join our team, bringing solid tax expertise together with practical experience in accounting platforms, workflow testing, and emerging AI-driven tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Tax & Compliance

• Handle corporate and individual tax return preparation.
• Manage sales tax matters including multi-state registration and compliance monitoring.
• Provide tax planning guidance for small-to-mid-sized businesses (entity structure, lease vs. purchase decisions).
• Oversee expense classification, payroll accuracy, bookkeeping, and investment-related accounting.
• Deliver strategic tax advice and client-facing consulting support.

Software, Data & AI

• Work hands-on with accounting platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks, or comparable tools.
• Perform tax software testing, taxonomy review, and workflow validation.
• Leverage AI-based tools (such as Claude) to produce outputs and correct inaccuracies.
• Diagnose and resolve data or tax-related system issues.
• Contribute feedback to improve product features and address software gaps.
• Gain exposure to tax analytics and broader data science efforts.
