The Role

• Lead safeguarding initiatives within the school, reporting directly to the Head Teacher.
• Liaise daily with statutory and non-statutory agencies, parents/carers, and staff on child protection and wellbeing matters.
• Act as a key source of support, advice, and expertise on safeguarding issues for the team.
• Collaborate with colleagues across different locations to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the school's inclusive ethos, championing diversity and individuality.

What You'll Need

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Designated Safeguarding Lead role.
• A comprehensive portfolio of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) related to Safeguarding and Child Protection.
• Outstanding interpersonal and problem-resolution skills.
• A genuinely empathetic and dedicated approach to supporting children.
• Full UK driving licence.
