Accounting Operations Leader

We are partnering with a growing organization seeking an experienced accounting leader to oversee core accounting operations and help drive operational excellence across the finance function. This individual will provide leadership across multiple accounting disciplines while partnering with teams throughout the business to improve processes, strengthen controls, and support continued growth.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Leading day-to-day accounting operations, including transactional accounting and general ledger activities
• Developing and mentoring accounting team members while fostering a high-performance culture
• Partnering with business leaders across operations, supply chain, customer-focused teams, and other departments
• Driving process optimization, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
• Supporting financial close activities, reporting accuracy, internal controls, and audit readiness
• Maintaining strong accounting practices and ensuring compliance with company policies
• Contributing to large-scale finance transformation projects and system enhancements

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Extensive progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
• Proven success managing multiple accounting functions and developing teams
• Experience working within large ERP environments
• Background supporting accounting operations across multiple locations or business units
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, reconciliations, month-end close, and accounting fundamentals
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes, implement controls, and establish performance metrics
• Comfortable operating in both strategic and hands-on capacities

Preferred Background

• CPA or equivalent professional certification
• Exposure to international accounting standards
• Experience within manufacturing, consumer products, or similar operational environments
• Experience with modern ERP platforms and financial technology tools
• Interest in leveraging automation and emerging technologies to improve finance operations
