We're hiring on behalf of a leading U.S. defense organization, renowned for its critical role in naval engineering and innovation. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to major aircraft carrier programs and shape engineering policy for national security.

The Role

• Manage naval architecture aspects of major aircraft carrier program systems integration, providing platform perspective.
• Develop and set engineering policy for Navy project engineers, system integrators, and contractors.
• Plan, design, and report on high-risk engineering operations for system and aircraft carrier design.
• Represent engineering policy matters to negotiate critical integration outcomes.
• Demonstrate experience in planning and managing complex ship design, maintenance, repair, and development programs.
• Evaluate and incorporate the latest advancements in Naval Architecture and Engineering Systems into technical plans and specifications.

What You'll Need

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent.
• At least one year of specialized experience in managing systems engineering projects for ship design, development, or maintenance.
• Experience equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13) pay band.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
• DAWIA certification in the assigned Acquisition Functional Area.
