Our infusion center is staffed with a team of neurologists & BSN and MS certified RNs, dedicated to keeping a high standard of care for patients. We provide expert, compassionate infusion care in a comfortable, supportive environment.
Job Details: The ideal candidate will have a dynamic personality, at least one year of registered nursing experience, and rockstar IV skills! Previous infusion experience is a plus.
The RN must have an active, unrestricted nursing license in their state of practice. BLS certification required.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides infusion and other skilled nursing care to patients such as patient assessments, patient/caregiver education, responding to emergency patient needs.
Exceptional time management skills, good clinical judgement, and the ability to multi-task
Maintains patient confidentiality at all times; Strictly follows HIPAA laws and regulations
Participates in staff meetings and in-services as required
Well-developed interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and patients
Abides by organizational policies and procedures as well as state/federal rules/regulations
Education and Experience
· Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
· One year of current nursing experience required
· One year of experience with infusion therapy, including patient assessment skills, venous access skills and emergency patient care, preferred
