Mandatory skill: AEP RTCDP, Adobe CJA (Customer Journey Analytics), Adobe Analytics & other Adobe suite of products

Role Overview: We seek a highly experienced Lead Adobe Architect with 8 10+ years in digital analytics, tag management, customer data

platforms, and marketing technology. The ideal candidate will have dedicated most of their career to designing, implementing, and supporting solutions across the Adobe product suite.This senior, hands-on role requires deep expertise in Adobe Experience platform (AEP-RTCDP), Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics, Adobe tag management, and integrations with platforms such as Braze and Attentive. The candidate must be proficient in data access, functions, connectors, consent integrations, and third-party platforms. They will lead solution architecture, complex implementations, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, governance, and technical delivery for enterprise Adobe and marketing-transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead architect and subject-matter expert for the enterprise Adobe ecosystem.
  • Design scalable client-side and server-side architectures using Adobe products.
  • Lead enterprise implementations, migrations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives.
  • Own the design and implementation of AA to CJA Migration with extensive libraries, extensions, load rules, tags,

mappings, environments, and data quality/validation.

  • Establish standardized data layers and event-tracking frameworks across websites, mobile applications, and

other digital channels.

  • Develop and review advanced custom JavaScript solutions for tracking, consent, identity, and third-party

integrations.

  • Configure attributes, audiences, badges, enrichments, rules, connectors, and activation workflows.
  • Implement Adobe Functions and API-based solutions for integrations with Attentive, Braze and other CEP

(Customer Engagement Platforms).

  • Support Data implementations and integration with cloud platforms, data lakes, and data warehouses.
  • Architect identity-resolution strategies across anonymous, authenticated, and cross-device customer journeys.
  • Lead integrations with analytics, advertising, CRM, personalization, marketing automation, and customer

engagement platforms.

  • Integrate consent-management platforms such as OneTrust, TrustArc, Cookiebot, or along with Adobe.
  • Design consent enforcement, preference management, opt-in/opt-out, and regional privacy workflows.
  • Ensure implementations comply with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other applicable privacy regulations.
  • Perform advanced debugging across data layers, JavaScript, browser events, network requests, APIs, consent

layers, connectors, and downstream platforms.

  • Lead root-cause analysis for data loss, duplication, incorrect attribution, tag-firing failures, connector errors,

audience qualification issues, and performance problems.

Classification: Internal

  • Define monitoring, alerting, reconciliation, and data-quality validation processes.
  • Establish Governance standards covering access controls, naming conventions, reusable libraries, versioning,

publishing, testing, and documentation.

  • Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, implementation audits, and performance assessments.
  • Partner with engineering, analytics, marketing, product, privacy, security, and data-platform teams.
  • Translate business and marketing requirements into scalable technical designs.
  • Mentor Adobe developers and consultants and provide technical direction across delivery teams.
  • Represent the Adobe practice in stakeholder discussions, incident reviews, and strategic planning.

Required Experience:

  • Overall experience in digital analytics, tag management, customer data platforms, marketing technology, or

related disciplines.

  • Significant career experience primarily focused on Adobe suite of products and enterprise Adobe

implementations.

  • Ideally 8+ years of direct, hands-on experience with the Adobe product suite.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, large-scale Adobe programs across multiple brands, regions,

websites, or applications.

  • Proven ability to design end-to-end Adobe architectures spanning client-side collection, server-side processing,

identity resolution, segmentation, and activation.

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Adobe APIs, event specifications, extensions, load rules, mappings, profiles,

libraries, custom containers, and publishing environments.

  • Advanced JavaScript expertise, including APIs, event handling, asynchronous processing, promises, browser

storage, cookies, and error handling.

  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, authentication mechanisms, and

browser security controls.

  • Expert-level debugging and RCA skills using browser developer tools, Adobe Trace, network logs, API tools, and

destination-platform diagnostics.

  • Experience integrating Adobe with platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Ads, Meta,

Salesforce, Adobe Experience Cloud, marketing automation systems, personalization engines, affiliate platforms,

and data warehouses.

  • Strong experience integrating consent-management platforms, preferably OneTrust or TrustArc.
  • Detailed understanding of consent models, privacy requirements, cookie classifications, data retention, and

regional enforcement.

  • Experience with mobile tracking and Adobe SDK implementations for iOS and Android.
  • Strong knowledge of CDP concepts, customer profiles, audience segmentation, identity stitching, real-time

activation, and data governance.

Classification: Internal

  • Experience with Agile delivery, Jira, Git, release management, incident management, and enterprise change

control processes.

  • Strong stakeholder-management, technical leadership, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Adobe-certified professional, architect, or equivalent advanced certification.
  • Experience migrating from Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager, Ensighten, or other tag-management platforms

to Adobe.

  • Experience integrating Adobe with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, or comparable data platforms.
  • Knowledge of SQL and data validation or reconciliation techniques.
  • Experience implementing automated testing and monitoring for tag-management and analytics solutions.
  • Experience supporting high-volume, business-critical digital platforms in regulated industries.
  • Consulting experience involving executive stakeholders and geographically distributed delivery teams.

Education:

  • Bachelor s or master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a

related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Success Measures:

  • Delivery of scalable and reliable Adobe solutions across client-side and server-side environments.
  • High accuracy and completeness of customer and behavioral data.
  • Strong compliance with privacy and consent requirements.
  • Reduction in production incidents and root-cause resolution time.
  • Improved Adobe governance, reuse, performance, and release quality.
  • Successful integration and activation of data across enterprise platforms.
  • Effective technical leadership and development of internal Adobe capabilities.
