Finance Manager Part time

Salary: £40,000-£45,000 FTE, depending on experience (pro rata) Hours: 22.5 hrs/week (3 days) Location: Vassall Centre, Bristol - hybrid working

Are you a finance professional who wants more than a seat at the table - you want to help build it? Carers Support Bristol & South Gloucestershire is looking for a part-time Finance Manager to lead its financial systems, controls and reporting, with genuine autonomy to shape how finance is done.

This is a rare opportunity to properly build a finance function from a position of real trust. Reporting to the Chief Executive, you'll pair every report with clear, practical advice - not just the numbers - and have real scope to shape how finance is done here. Hybrid working, with on-site time in Bristol flexed around what the role needs.

• Lead management accounts, cash flow forecasting and restricted fund management

• Line manage a Finance Officer, and oversee payroll and budgeting

• Cost bids, grants and tenders alongside the fundraising team

Essential: hands-on experience within the charity or not-for-profit sector, including managing restricted and unrestricted income. This is a must-have - please only apply if you can evidence this.
