Job Description

We match our Care assistants to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enables us to provide personalized support. 

Home Instead is recruiting for Waking Night Care Professionals across East Fife.

We are looking for kind, caring & reliable people who are able to do waking nights. 

Waking nights responsibilities include supporting our clients frequently during the night supporting them with any needs such as personal care and companionship.

Areas we cover include:  

Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes, Markinch, Leven, Cupar, Ceres, St Andrews and the East Neuk

Only Driver positions are currently available - Must have license and own car

What are the Responsibilities:

  • 10 hour shift.
  • Frequently supporting client during the night.
  • Introductions to all new clients.
  • Your own space in client's home for your personal space and belongings.
  • Providing personal care, companionship and medication prompts.

You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a Care Assistant as full training is given. However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience.

You will receive full, ongoing support as well as access to award winning training. Social events with your colleagues.
