The Role

• Provide expert engineering support to key Submarine Ship Building Programs.
• Contribute to the design, development, and acquisition of advanced submarine systems.
• Apply scientific and mathematical principles to solve complex technical challenges.
• Analyze the impact of designs on users and the environment.
• Oversee testing and production phases to ensure quality and performance.
• Estimate project timelines and costs for critical naval projects.

What You'll Need

• Master's degree in a technical or engineering discipline.
• 7 years of professional engineering experience desired.
• 7+ years of experience in the design, test, qualification, and production of naval shipboard electrical and/or propulsion equipment.
• Knowledge and experience with Submarines and/or the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.
• Experience with large electrical machines and/or power electronics.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with a secret security clearance.
