Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Data Scientists to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

Collect, process, and analyse large datasets using advanced SQL and Python or R to identify trends, customer behaviour patterns, marketing performance drivers, and opportunities for business improvement.

Design and execute rigorous marketing measurement studies, including experimental and quasi-experimental analyses, to evaluate campaign effectiveness, promotional performance, and the impact of customer strategies.

Develop analytical models, measurement methodologies, and data visualizations to communicate findings, evaluate business outcomes, and translate complex analytical results into clear, actionable recommendations.

Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and project stakeholders to define measurement requirements, validate data accuracy and integrity, improve analytical approaches, and deliver insights that support strategic business decisions.

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

Experience in data science, marketing analytics, statistical analysis, and marketing measurement, with 6–9 years of experience in advanced SQL and Python. Experience evaluating marketing campaigns, customer strategies, experiments, and business performance is required.

Technical Skills:

Microsoft SQL, Advanced SQL, Python, R, Statistical Analysis, Machine Learning, Marketing Measurement, Experimental Design, Data Visualization, Data Quality Validation

Business / Domain Skills:

Experience supporting marketing analytics and measurement, including campaign effectiveness, promotional performance, customer strategy evaluation, and marketing program optimization.

Experience measuring the impact of marketing initiatives through experimental and quasi-experimental analysis, interpreting results, and translating findings into business recommendations.

Experience analysing customer behaviour, developing customer segmentation insights, evaluating promotional effectiveness, and identifying trends that inform marketing strategy and resource allocation.

Experience communicating complex analytical results in clear, business-friendly language and collaborating with marketing stakeholders to align measurement approaches with business objectives.

Communication:

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation:

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Work Authorization:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Travel Required

Quarterly travel for PI planning.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with campaign effectiveness management, customer segmentation, promotional management, and marketing performance measurement.

Experience selecting appropriate analytical methods, interpreting statistical results, and evaluating the reliability and business relevance of measurement outcomes.

Strong storytelling, presentation, critical-thinking, and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to explain complex findings and recommendations to nontechnical audiences.
