Role: Senior AI Engineer – Python

Location: London (Hybrid)

Compensation: Up To £700/Day Outside IR35

Overview

We’re partnering with a leading, technology-driven organisation looking to expand its AI engineering capabilities. You’ll work on turning advanced AI and machine learning concepts into robust, production-ready solutions that solve real business problems. This is a hands-on opportunity to build impactful systems using modern AI technologies, with a strong focus on delivering solutions that are scalable, reliable and ready for real-world use.

What You’ll Do

1. Design and develop AI-powered applications, intelligent workflows and machine learning solutions using Python and modern AI frameworks.
2. Take solutions from initial concept through to deployment, ensuring they meet the standards required for enterprise production environments.
3. Build and evaluate models using real-world data, incorporating testing, monitoring and performance improvements throughout the development lifecycle.
4. Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI adoption and deliver practical, high-impact solutions.

What We’re Looking For

1. Strong commercial Python engineering experience, with a track record of delivering AI or machine learning solutions into production.
2. Hands-on experience with LLMs, agentic frameworks, AI orchestration and model evaluation.
3. Solid machine learning fundamentals, including model development, training, evaluation and monitoring.
4. Experience building AI solutions within complex environments, with an understanding of production readiness, governance and ongoing model reliability.
