Hyundai Automotive Technician

Berman Hyundai is seeking motivated and enthusiastic technicians at the Semi-Skilled through Journeyman level to join our dynamic and growing service team! 
Location: Lincolnwood, IL 
Pay Scale: $22 - $45.15/HR (Based on Experience, ASE Certifications, and/or Training)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with diagnostic testing and troubleshooting for both mechanical and electrical issues
• Work alongside senior technicians on more complex repairs, including engine, transmission, and suspension work
• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Hyundai vehicles according to manufacturer standards
• Accurately diagnose electrical, mechanical, and drivability concerns
• Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
• Utilize Hyundai diagnostic equipment, service information, and special tools
• Document repair orders thoroughly and accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Stay current with Hyundai training and technical service bulletins

Qualifications:

• ASE Certifications 
• At least 2 years of experience in an automotive repair or maintenance setting required. Enthusiasm for learning and hands-on technical work is essential.
• Ability to work in a team environment, follow instructions, and take direction from senior technicians.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and a willingness to learn and improve problem-solving techniques.
